Patient Reviews

Mamad Rad

Patient's Owner

"I can say with complete confidence that this is one of the best eye centers in Turkey. My child's eye was on the verge of complete vision loss. I took them to more than 10 doctors and many hospitals, we spent a significant amount of money, but unfortunately got no results. Eventually someone recommended this place. With just a single examination and the treatment prescribed, my child's eye was fully healed within 10 days. It was truly an incredible experience. First of all, the entire team is extremely warm and attentive. The environment is very clean and well-organized. The prices are quite reasonable given the quality of service provided. The medical staff is truly expert in their field and instills confidence. I sincerely thank all the clinic staff, especially Dr. Berrak Hande Bayram. The doctor's attentiveness, patience, and professionalism meant so much to us. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone experiencing eye problems. You must visit."

Frequently Asked Questions

My dog's or cat's eye is constantly watering and red — what should I do?

Persistent eye watering, redness, discharge, or itching can be signs of conjunctivitis, corneal injury, or dry eye. These symptoms may not resolve on their own and can worsen quickly. We recommend visiting a veterinary ophthalmologist as soon as possible — early diagnosis helps prevent permanent vision loss.

Can cataract surgery be performed in cats and dogs?

Yes. Clouding of the eye lens (cataract) in dogs and cats can be surgically treated using phacoemulsification. Whether a patient is a suitable candidate for surgery is determined through a thorough examination of the intraocular structures and retina. In appropriate cases, significant vision recovery is possible after surgery.

Can glaucoma be treated in pets?

Glaucoma results from increased intraocular pressure and, if not caught early, can lead to permanent blindness. Pressure is measured with tonometry; in early stages it can be managed with medical treatment, while advanced cases may require surgery. Sudden eye enlargement, redness, or signs of pain call for urgent evaluation.

What are the signs of dry eye (KCS) in dogs?

In dry eye syndrome, tear production is insufficient, leading to thick, sticky discharge, persistent redness, a dull cornea, and recurring eye infections. It is easily diagnosed with the Schirmer tear test. Because it can cause corneal damage if left untreated, regular monitoring — and often lifelong treatment — is required.

How often should my pet have an eye check-up?

We recommend an annual eye examination for healthy cats and dogs. Older animals, brachycephalic (flat-faced) breeds, and those with a hereditary risk of eye disease should be seen more frequently. Any change in vision, however small, warrants an examination without delay.

Do I need an appointment for an eye examination?

Yes — we work by appointment to give every patient the time they deserve. You can reach our appointment line at 0530 968 55 57, every day except Sunday from 09:00 to 19:00. For urgent situations, quick support is also available through our WhatsApp consultation line at 0546 870 31 61.

Where is your clinic and which areas do you serve?
